My name is Tom Annunziato and I am not your typical politician.
I was raised in a mostly single parent household, and it is through my experiences growing up that I learned the value of hard work. My mother was a waitress during the day and a car hop at night. She worked hard to provide for myself and my two sisters. Despite our challenges she accepted no government welfare or entitlements. She simply understood that she needed to work hard to support herself and her children, and was not dependent on the government for subsistence.
She taught me the valuable lesson that if I wanted to achieve anything in life, I was not entitled to it, but had to work hard to achieve it. That is the fundamental principle behind the American dream….we are provided the freedom to achieve whatever we dream, but we are not entitled to it.
Life hasn’t always been easy for me…just like it isn’t always easy for you. I am fortunate to have a wonderful family and unwavering faith in God that keeps me focused and grounded through the good times and the bad.
And simply put, that is why I am running for State Representative.
I have a vision for Texas that promotes and protects our families, welcomes new and growing businesses and demands that our government work harder and smarter – and begin doing a lot more with a lot less.
My goal is to be your next state representative from District 99. I bring strong grass root conservative ideals to this community.
